Upholstery Spray Paint is suitable for all moisture-absorbent fabrics including cotton, cotton blends, velour, velvet, wool and canvas. Contains a powerful UV protectant to resist fading from the sun, indoors or outdoors. Restore colour to sofas, chairs, rugs, office partitions, car interiors, canvas awnings, etc. For a complete colour change it is best to go from a lighter colour to a darker colour. Paint is not opaque, therefore spray painting over printed patterns may create a pleasing self-patterned effect. See estimation chart to determine how many cans will be needed for your project. Test to see if your material is suitable by spraying it with water. If the water absorbs readily, the paint will absorb too. Paint is permanent when dry and will not rub off - not even on white clothing! Material remains soft after painting as the paint does not change the fabric texture.
