Your artwork must be uploaded here to be included with your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that your artwork is sent to us in the correct format. Otherwise, your order could be rejected or delayed while you adjust your artwork to the correct format for us to make a screen without any changes. Please read the following points carefully:

Artwork must be sent in "mono" (black & white) format

Your artwork must be "mono", ie: use only BLACK to indicate your design, on a white or transparent background. It doesn't matter what colour ink/s you will be using for screen printing! For your screen to be made, the digital processor will read only BLACK to indicate where the tiny holes should be made for your ink to come through.

Designs must be "line art" only (solid text and/or graphics)

Artwork for screen printing must consist of only SOLID TEXT and/or SOLID GRAPHICS. The above image is a great example of a logo design that could make a great screen and print easily. With DIY screen printing, especially for beginners, SIMPLE is best. We CANNOT make your screen from photographs! We CANNOT make your screen from shaded illustrations, grey-scale images or "half-tones" (unless you're a graphic designer and know how to apply a dot screen @ 38lpi/37-degrees). If in doubt about the suitability of your artwork, contact us before ordering your screen.

Artwork will be reproduced in the same size

Check the image area on the screen size you have ordered. Your artwork MUST fit within this area because we simply open your file and make the screen without any changes or adjustments to your artwork. Your screen image will be made in the SAME SIZE as your artwork. For example, if you order a "large" screen (image area up to 24cm x 38cm), and send us an image which is 10cm x 10cm, you will receive a large screen containing a small design. If you send artwork larger than the maximum image area of the screen you have ordered, we will not be able to make your screen.

Uploading a PDF file is best

We can accept your artwork in PDF, PSD, JPEG or TIFF format, however we prefer to receive PDFs. File uploads are limited to 4MB and formats other than PDF can be much larger than 4MB if the image is large or high-resolution. Minimum resolution is 300dpi. Maximum resolution is 600dpi.
