Our custom screens are made digitally, direct from your supplied artwork, so there are no pinholes or mechanical imperfections to deal with. Screens are made from a high-tech screen mesh ("70 Mesh") which is ideal for printing simple designs in water-based inks on cotton, canvas, or poly-cotton blends.

About your screen size

You must ensure that your artwork will fit within the maximum image areas for your choice of screen. The actual screen you will receive will be much larger than the maximum image area. This is to allow plenty of room for the movement of your squeegee over the screen.

About your frame type

Plastic frames are very durable, however if you have a long production run in mind, it would make sense to purchase a metal frame. If you wish to screen print using OPAQUE, FLUORO or METALLIC inks, you MUST order a metal frame.

Plastic frame details

Reusable plastic frames for screen mesh are made in one piece from sturdy ABS polyrethane plastic. They are lightweight and flexible to resist cracking.

Metal frame details

Metal frames are made from solid aluminium. They have punched corners for extra strength and the corner joins are sanded for a smooth finish.
