Allow 1 can of Upholstery Spray Paint per 1 square yard of fabric (1 yard² = .836127 m²). Materials with a nap (ie: velvets) or pile (ie: carpets) will absorb more paint due to the greater surface area of fibre needing coverage. Allow a little extra for any fiddly details such as piping and zippers. To restore the original colour usually requires less paint than a colour change. To change colour completely, choose a paint colour that is darker than the original colour.
